Let My Coils Flow…

Let My Coils Flow…

My struggle would be my hair. I’ve tried products on top of products. Do you get my drift?

I hear women with long straight hair. Complain about not having thick and coily hair. To hear this, I think to myself. Lady if only you knew my struggle with 4C Hair.

I hear women with my same hair texture. Complain about not having straight or curly hair. To hear this, I just laugh.

I’ve come to the conclusion that no matter your hair texture. We all have some sort of struggle with our hair.

I went into Walmart today. I seen this product on the shelf. That Yandy use on her and also her children hair.

I looked at the bottle. Looked at the price. Looked at my wallet. Kept turning the bottle around and around. Just thinking! Will this product work in my hair. Would it just sit on the top of my hair shaft and leave a white residue. As I kept turning the bottle. I see No parabens, No sulfates, No Paraffins, No Mineral Oil, No Synthetic Colors, No DEA, no animal testing. A huge plus.

For those of you who don’t know what DEA is. It is a chemically modified coconut oil used as a thickener in most products.

For those of you who don’t know what sulfate is. It is a cleansing agent also found in cleans products.

Yay!!! No animal testing!!! Pro Animals!! I love them..

Back to my story! I was debating on this or going with another product that listed the same thing. No parabens, No sulfates, etc.

I was sold on this particular product Yandy use because it listed “Enhances curls with SEMI-DEEP definition with intense hydration for thick, curly Type 4 hair”.

Yes it says it on front of the bottle. I was surprised but it got me to buy it over the other product.

I got home. Washed my hair. Looked for my Aloe Vera Gel. Didn’t have anymore. I pulled “MIELLE” out of my bag.

Remember my hair is damp, just washed it. I took the top off. An Girl! The first thing that hits me is the same. That fruity honey scent had me smiling from ear to ear.

The creamy texture of the MIELLE Twisting Soufflé felt just like lotion in between my fingers. I slapped that on my hair. Rubbed it in my scalp and stretched my hair a few times. Looked in the mirror to see if it was sitting on my hair shaft or actually absorbed into my hair.

Guess what y’all! To my surprise it actually absorbed into my hair.

It’s been about 2 hours since I used it and look at that stretch. My hair is totally hydrated. No dryness and No stiffness.

If you have 4 type hair. Consider trying “MIELLE” hair products. If it worked for me it’ll definitely work for you.

In the making: Aloe Leaf Hair Treatment

In the making: Aloe Leaf Hair Treatment

Greetings Again Community!

Hannah’s Mother here again with another DIY tip to share with you. The Great Aloe Leaf! Yes, Aloe Leaf is used for more than soothing burn and aid in digestive problems. Did you know you can use it in your hair.

The Aloe Leaf is packed with Vitamins and amino acids. It also has proteolytic enzymes which if you don’t know repairs dead skin cells on the scalp. This amazing leaf rejuvenates your hair. Giving your hair the elasticity to prevent breakage. Now who can’t scream for that. My natural hair was so brittle and dry to the touch. I could hear the strands of my hair pop.

I would take the Aloe Leaf and cut the outer leaf off and carve the gel out. Take the aloe gel and blend it very good in the blender. Then Strain the liquid portion from the pulp. Put it in a spray bottle. Let it settle in the bottle for about 30 minutes. Wash and Condition my hair thoroughly. Rinse that out. Then apply my Aloe Leaf Gel (in the spray bottle) to my hair. Massage it in. From the root to the tip of my ends. Put a clear plastic shower cap on my hair. Then put my bonnet on. Let it sit in your hair overnight. When you wake up the next day. Wash it Out. You will immediately feel how soft your hair is. You can just feel the nourishment regained in the strands of your hair.

Please don’t take my word for it. Research Aloe Vera Leaf benefits. Don’t just click on the first 2 or 3 links in google. Clicks all of them. Go to your local library. Go to your local natural herbal store “Brown’s Market”. You will see the exact Vitamins it has (A, B,C & E). You will also find all of the amino acids it is packed with. I’m telling you knowledge is Powerful! Self Educate Yourself. Some of this stuff you will not necessarily be taught in school or college. It takes research to prove theses facts.

Blessing Upon Blessings Tribe! Much Love
